Elliot Hooper made his first-class debut for Sussex in 2019, bowling Dawid Malan for his first Championship wicket in a win against Middlesex. A left-arm spinner who has been part of the Sussex set-up since his childhood, he attended Loughborough University, where he was part of the MCCU programme under Russell Cobb, and also coaches at Warminster School alongside his playing career.
