Profile & Biography
Left-hand opening batter Chandrapaul Hemraj was in good form in the lead up to his West Indies debut. He hit his maiden List-A hundred - a 103 not out for Guyana in the Super 50 - just before his maiden call-up for the tour of India. He also had a few quick knocks for West Indies A in the one-day tri-series also featuring England Lions and India A.
He made his ODI debut in Guwahati and played only six times across the tours of India and Bangladesh late in 2018.
Back in the domestic circuit as a capped player, Hemraj smashed a boundary-laden 144 in a first-class match for Guyana against Barbados in January 2019. He first played in CPL 2018 for St Lucia Stars, and then moved over to Guyana Amazon Warriors next season. His only T20 hundred came for Warriors in 2021, hitting an unbeaten 105 off just 56 balls and dominating a successful chase of 136 against Barbados Tridents.
