Profile & Biography
Born in Durban, Brandon McMullen moved to Scotland in 2018 and qualified for the national team in 2022, where he quickly established himself as a genuine allrounder. He made an immediate mark at the 2023 World Cup Qualifier with a five-wicket haul against Ireland and a maiden hundred against Oman.
By 2025 he had become central to Scotland's ODI side, passing 1000 runs and 50 wickets in just 33 matches - the second-fastest to that double in ODI history. In T20Is too, he came in clutch, with two fifties at the 2024 T20 World Cup, including a standout 60 against Australia.
McMullen's rise has also taken him into franchise and county cricket, playing in the ILT20 and representing Hampshire in the One-Day Cup. For Scotland, he remains their most reliable all-round asset, combining top-order runs with incisive spells.
