202 Harry Brook's score against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi, making him the first England cricketer to score a double-century in ODIs. Ben Stokes had held the record for England's highest ODI score - 182 against New Zealand at The Oval in 2023.
Brook also became the first to score an ODI double-hundred in Pakistan - the previous highest score in the country being Gary Kirsten's 188 not out against UAE in the 1996 World Cup. As Sri Lanka's coach, Kirsten was in Rawalpindi to see his record broken 30 years on.
114 Number of balls Brook took to complete his double hundred against Sri Lanka, making it the fastest double ton in ODI cricket. Shubman Gill had scored a double off 117 balls against West Indies last month in Guwahati.
Brook's 202 is the highest individual score for a non-opener in ODIs, surpassing Glenn Maxwell's 201 not out at No. 6 against Afghanistan in the 2023 ODI World Cup, while the previous highest by a No. 4 was Viv Richards' 189* against England in Manchester in 1984.
4 Batters with double hundreds as a captain in men's ODIs, including Brook. The others are Virender Sehwag against West Indies in 2011, Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka in 2017, and Gill last month.
The previous highest ODI score by an England captain was 158 by Andrew Strauss against India in the 2011 World Cup.
174 Runs Brook scored against fast bowlers off just 90 balls during his double-century - the most a batter has scored against quicks in an ODI (where ball-by-ball data is available). The previous highest was 166 by Rohit against Sri Lanka during his 264 in 2014.
174 Runs scored by Brook after the 25th over of England's innings. Only two batters have scored as many or more in the last 25 overs of an ODI innings: 204 by Rohit against Sri Lanka during his 264 in 2014, and 174 by Heinrich Klaasen against Australia in 2023 after coming to bat in the 26th over in Centurion.
14.41 Run rate for the fourth-wicket partnership - 185 off 77 balls - between Brook and Will Jacks. It is the fourth-highest run rate for a 150-plus partnership in ODIs and the highest for England.
