T Natarajan IPL factfile
- At the IPL 2017 auction, T Natarajan turned heads when he went from a base price of INR 10 lakh to a winning bid of INR 3 crore from Punjab Kings (PBKS). That made him the highest-paid uncapped Indian player at the time.
- He, however, failed to make an impact managing just two wickets in six matches and was released by PBKS ahead of the next season. In IPL 2018, Natarajan was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR 40 lakh but didn't play a game as he was making his way back from an elbow injury.
- Natarajan first played for SRH in IPL 2020 and settled quickly into the team, staying with them till IPL 2024, which was also his most profitable season where he returned 19 wickets in 14 matches. He had a terrific time in the death overs, often nailing the yorkers.
- He was not retained ahead of IPL 2025 by SRH and went to Delhi Capitals for a whopping INR 10.75 crore at the auction. While he played just two games in the season, Natarajan was retained by DC for INR 10.75 crore ahead of IPL 2026.
